MUSIC OUTREACH
Alive Music Orchestra's growth expanded while Keith Stout was a music director at Christian Life Center in Vacaville.
Since 1990 their mission and outreach jazz ministry has provided music for various churches, seniors, dances,
charities, various music clinics for aspiring students at Public Schools, Private & Christian Schools, as well as the
general adult public.
The group's ministry has recently revived their Worship Praise Band called the "AMO Rhythm & Brass" playing for the
annual Gospel Sunday during the Vacaville Jazz Festival, performed Easter Services, invited to Church ministry
engagements, and invited to provide praise and worship at local churches.
AMO has been instrumental in achieving their mission through the Vaca Jazz Society's "Save Our Music" Vaca Jazz
Festival every September.
Founded in 1999 by Keith Stout, along with his close associates, VJS' Vacaville Jazz Festival has been supporting youth
camps, providing scholarships, and music clinics for the North Bay Area children. The valued partnerships with the
Solano County Library and local businesses have kept these programs alive. AMO's music outreach ministry has
blessed the public as well as the musicians within the community, investing in our children's lives, keeping America's
music alive, further educating our youth, that the "Genesis ofJazz"originated from the Black Southern Churches of
America. Our country's Jazz legacy is in the hands of the next generation.
